Peninsula Swiss Club Easter Egg Hunt 2006

Who says that it never rains in California?

Well, try as it might, the rain could not dampen the spirits of the PSC Easter Sunday Brunch. To work around the rain’s schedule, we met in the afternoon instead of the morning. True, we did not get to enjoy the now-famous Eggs Benedict brunch, but thanks to the quick thinking of Heidi and Maya we were able to meet in the back room at the Sunnyvale Church off of Bernado Ave. Many delicious cakes and home-made treats were brought by our members to be enjoyed with a hot or cold beverage. The Easter Bunny made her grand appearance and took the children on a tour of the premises and even posed for a few pictures. Afterwards, the children came back to find wonderful Easter bags filled with exciting surprises waiting for them. Thanks to Maya and Heidi for providing the Easter bags. We also tried our luck at some candy guessing contests brought by Anna Ralston and Pascal Gyger. Some of the winners were only off by a few numbers of the actual counts. We have some very good candy counters in the PSC!

All in all, it turned out to be a great day and we even got to see the sun briefly. Stay tuned for next year’s Easter Sunday Brunch and cross your fingers the rain decides to take a break.
